So, I'm in vegas at the Wynn w wife and lifelong friends--i'm chill'in in the spa --workout, then sauna, steam and catch the yanks a little, before the real deal MET's game tonight!!!
Glad henry capece and ed clemente were able to use my tix last night!!!! What a game that was.
Week three of sabbatical (can't call it retirement b/c I know the energy is exploding upward!!).
Steam, sauna, thunder deluge shower--that almost knocks you over if you don't hold on--hey, the towel DOES wrap around me and stay up, so this health/weight loss thing is in full gear!!!!!!
Just took a steam w Coach K next to me --met him on the floor w John and Jerry W years back!!! he was doing situps in the steam!!!!! we chatted it up--you know, morgan stanley, his friend john (as in mack, who he's having dinner w next tuesday as he and his daughter have written a book that he will be in ny for a signing--so look for that) --now he's off to oregon recruiting so we had to say goodbye--i thanked him on behalf of all morgan stanley veterans for making sure john took the job back--did you say $74 handle yesterday!!!
Told him to say hi to john for me, and he told me to say hi to jerry wood b/c he really doesn't want to!!!!!
I refrained from mentioning that I witnessed his first loss last b-ball season at gtown. When Ronnie B and I sit next to each other, it's AUTOMATIC!! We started it in seattle in '84 and were good ever since!!!!
Ya know, the usual day in vegas, baby!!!!!
